5th Edition of Dining with the Stars Officially Started

The fifth edition of dining with the stars has officially started with a special event at Diamonds Thudufushi Beach and Water Villas.

"5th edition of Dining with the Stars is officially started! Last week we had at Diamonds Thudufushi Beach and Water Villas a special event with 3 Michelin Chefs: Enrico Cerea, Andrea Berton and Chef Carlo Cracco." Planhotel Hospitality Group said in a statement.

“Dining with the Stars” is the gourmet event that brings the star chefs of the JRE – Jeunes Restaurateurs to the kitchens of the most exclusive Diamonds Resorts of the Planhotel Hospitality Group.

The Resorts participating this year are Diamonds Athuruga and Diamonds Thudufushi in the Maldives and Diamonds Star of the East in Zanzibar.

From January to April and from July to August 2019, 53 talents of the JRE – Jeunes Restaurateurs  – the internationally recognized association of young talented chefs – will alternate, each spending a week in the kitchens of Diamonds Resorts, offering guests a multi-sensory experience.

In the Maldives, the experience will include Gourmet Gala Dinner with signature dishes, Show-cooking session at the resort’s main restaurant and a special “Chef’s Table” evening where the chef will cook with the guests. In Zanzibar, the experience will include Gourmet Gala Dinner dinner with signature dishes at Ocean Blue Restaurant, Cooking Class with JRE chefs, Show Cooking and Four-handed dinner with JRE chef and the resort’s executive chef, Bjorn Van Den Oever.
