Hospitality & Retail Systems (HRS) has signed up as a gold partner for Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2019.
A partnership agreement was signed on Tuesday by Dr Hussain Sunny Umar, Chief Executive Officer of event organiser Orca Media Group, and Abdulla Mohamed, the Area Manager for Maldives at HRS.
HRS is Oracle’s largest hospitality partner worldwide, providing coverage to more than 3,000 customers in over 50 countries. Recognised as a platinum partner, HRS offers a wide range of innovative solutions to its customers, including: Property Management, POS, Spa & Guest Activities, Business Analytics, Payment Gateway, Mobile Applications, Channel Manager, Online Distribution Services, Finance and HR Systems, and Passport Scanning & Recognition.
TTM is the largest platform connecting the travel trade community of the Maldives to the global network of travel professionals.
The third edition of the first and largest international trade show in the Maldives will take place from June 11–23, 2019.
TTM 2019 will be exhibiting over 100 properties from the Maldives, including top resorts, hotels, airlines and other key stakeholders of the industry. Organisers expect leading 200 operators from the top 30 source markets to participate in the fair.
TTM, which was launched in 2017 by local PR firm Maldives Getaways (now known as Orca Media Group), aims to facilitate the tourism industry of Maldives to reach the ultimate target of two million tourists per year with over USD 3.5 billion in receipts by the end of 2020.
Held from April 30 to May 5, TTM 2018 received tremendous support from industry professionals.
The second edition gathered more than 400 industry professionals from top 150 resorts, leading local and international tour operators and travel agents, media partners, and airlines as well as other key industry stakeholders. Using the handy Connect software, exhibitors conducted over 4,000 pre-scheduled meetings with the most influential decision-makers in the industry for three days.
