Maldives is exhibiting at the World Travel Market in London with 169 delegates from 65 companies of Maldives tourism sector, including resorts, hotels, guest houses, travel agencies, associations and airline operators. The fair is held from November 5-7, led by Ahmed Shiaan, the Maldives ambassador to UK, Belgium and EU.
The Maldives stand provides business meetings for industry professionals, create personal and business opportunities and provide customers with quality contacts and content.
To gain coverage, press distribution will be conducted providing information about the big events and success stories of Maldives. Visitors can also experience Maldives in virtual reality while a lucky winner gets to holiday and witness the wonders of the country. Maldives, the sunny side of life, is being represented at a 345 square meter stand designed in an attractive fashionable style, showing images of nature of the country. The double-story stand has been enhanced to accommodate the increasing partners participating at the fair each year, implying the significance of the fair to the partners. Co-exhibitors are given the opportunity to advertise the authentic character of each destination at allocated tables.
Prince Regent DIR walkway screens are used by MMPRC in order to maxmise the presence of Maldives and portray the beauty of Maldives in the form of images and videos. It is expected to be an effective method, as the walkway screens are located at the main entrance of WTM.
WTM provides the opportunity to discover the world at one place and discover trends, issues and innovations in the travel industry. Ideas are also generated at WTM London, including about 100 sessions taking place and input from 350 senior industry experts.
