Marriott International Announces Brenden Corcoran as the General Manager at Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort


It was announced by Marriott International Brenden Corcoran would be taking the position of General Manager at The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort. Brendan is known for his Industry experience that spans over 20 years in different leadership positions. 

He graduated from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Ireland and embarked on his professional journey at the Hilton Sandton in Johannesburg, South Africa. From there, his passion for embracing new opportunities and experiences saw him excel in positions with some of the world's leading hospitality brands.

Previously he was the general manager at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu in Maldives, which gained him deep insights and knowledge of the region.

A natural multi-tasker and great communicator, Brendan incorporates skills acquired at the Harvard Business School in the US to strategically deliver creative and practical solutions to problems in a fast-paced guest environment, spearhead the commercial and operational success of the property, and ensure the resort provides consistently exceptional guest experiences. 

Within a renowned biosphere reserve, this Westin Maldives Miriandhoo resort is accessible via seaplane from Velana International Airport. It's 18 km from snorkeling with sharks and manta rays at Hanifaru Bay.

Stylish 1 and 2-bedroom villas and suites (some set over water) feature terraces or decks with ocean views, plus living areas and custom beds. All provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges. Some have private pools.
