President Muizzu Pledges Zero Tolerance for Corruption in Fuel Supply Maldives Case

Male’, Maldives – The Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology has launched a major investigation into allegations of oil theft and money laundering by employees of Fuel Supply Maldives (FSM). The police have conducted extensive searches as part of the inquiry, signaling the government’s commitment to tackling corruption.

In a statement, authorities confirmed that special police teams have so far searched 10 individuals, two residential properties, and two oil barges suspected to be involved in the case. The searches have yielded electronic equipment and documents believed to be linked to the theft and laundering operations. Further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
