In a landmark move to elevate the Maldives’ global tourism presence, Lets Go Maldives, one of the country’s premier Destination Management Companies (DMCs), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the government agency responsible for promoting Maldivian tourism under the “Visit Maldives” brand.
This public-private partnership aims to enhance destination visibility and increase tourist arrivals from strategic markets, including Russia, the CIS region, the GCC, Western Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America.
With a legacy of over 20 years, Lets Go Maldives has built a strong reputation as a leading promoter of luxury travel to the Maldives, leveraging cutting-edge marketing strategies and longstanding partnerships with the country’s top resorts. The newly signed MoU will also strengthen the company’s ongoing “I Feel Maldives” campaign — a private-sector initiative that will see the Maldives showcased at major international travel expos and roadshows throughout 2025–2026. These include ITB China, Routes World in Hong Kong, MITT Russia, BIT Milan, QTM Qatar, and the International Wellness Tourism Expo in Japan.
Speaking at the signing, Mr. Mohamed Riyaz, CEO and Founder of Lets Go Maldives, expressed his deep-rooted passion for showcasing the Maldives to the world:
Mr. Mohamed Bassam, Chief Operating Officer of Lets Go Maldives and former Acting Managing Director of MMPRC, emphasized the strength of collaboration:
This initiative reflects the Maldives’ continued commitment to sustainable tourism development and effective collaboration between public and private sectors, paving the way for long-term growth in visitor numbers and global visibility.
