Dhiraagu has opened applications for Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme 2026 intake – the company’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and the first corporate apprenticeship programme of its kind.
Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme aims to develop youth through a structured educational training programme, enhance work skills and familiarise them to the corporate working environment. It will allow participants to earn while they learn and gain on-the-job experience and training in various fields in Dhiraagu such as Administration, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Corporate Services, Finance, Human Resources and Technology.
The opportunity to participate in this year’s programme is open at Dhiraagu Head Office at Male’ as well as the company’s operation centres at Addu City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Laamu Atoll, and Gaafu Atoll. Any Maldivian between the ages of 18-30 years who has completed their A’ Levels and are not currently employed full-time are eligible to participate in this programme.
All apprentices joining the programme will receive trainings conducted by in-house specialists from various departments focusing on soft skills development, essential knowledge in areas such as time management, personal management, project planning, presentation skills, and more.

Dhiraagu has been conducting the company’s apprentice programme consecutively since 2009. Since then, 288 apprentices have enrolled in the programme and have gone on to establish successful careers in Dhiraagu and other organisations across the Maldives.
Through this programme, Dhiraagu continues to empower young people and develop future leaders, enabling them to ‘take on tomorrow’ by giving them the opportunity to develop their skills through on-site training under the guidance of a highly qualified management team.
