The Magellan 32, designed to accommodate eight passengers, is tailored for pleasure fishing, excursions, and resort transport, offering a versatile and high-quality option for guesthouses and resorts. Powered by two 175HP Yamaha outboard engines, the vessel promises exceptional performance and reliability, making it a game-changer for the Maldives’ tourism-driven marine sector. The unveiling follows Al Shaali Marine’s successful showcase of the Magellan 32 at the Maldives Marine Expo 2024, where it garnered significant attention for its innovative features.
The Maldives Expo 2025, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Business Center Corporation (BCC), runs from May 23 to May 31, 2025, with daily hours from 16:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 22:00. The event, which opened to the public on May 23 at 8:30 PM, features over 3,600 exhibits across 14 categories and 82 sub-categories, with 383 exhibitors showcasing local and international products. Al Shaali Marine’s stall, located in the Market Place District alongside partners like Dhiraagu, highlights the expo’s focus on innovation and entrepreneurship.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who presided over the awards ceremony on May 22 at the Social Center in Malé, commended the expo’s role in promoting Maldivian creativity and economic growth. Al Shaali Marine’s launch aligns with the event’s mission to boost exports and showcase the nation’s craftsmanship, with the Magellan 32 poised to enhance the Maldives’ reputation as a hub for marine innovation.
