Originating from the Sanskrit term meaning “peace,” Aman has deliberately developed over the course of thirty years to rank among the most perceptive and innovative lifestyle brands worldwide. Aman’s mission is to deliver an unparalleled quality of service and experience, both at home and in its 35 destinations. This unique vision has driven every aspect of the company’s operations.
Aman Resort’s inaugural project in the Maldives signifies the group’s initiative to broaden its reach throughout the Indian Ocean.
The resort, which is scheduled to open on the Vavuu Atoll, will have 52 rooms and 16 branded apartments designed by Kerry Hill Architects, a company that has a long history with Aman and is responsible for some of the company’s most well-known establishments, including Aman Kyoto.
Inspired by the pristine white coralline beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters that make this destination so well-known for diving, the architecture of one of the most remote and serene areas of the Maldives celebrates the natural beauty and simplicity of its surroundings.
Each property will provide an own haven of privacy, with five to ten bedrooms, and an unrivaled sunrise experience from its far eastern vantage position, where the light first appears over the horizon.
Each property is situated on an islet with its own private beach, 25-meter swimming pool, and personal landing pier, all while being accessible to the resort’s facilities.
The new way of living at Aman Residences Maldives is in sync with the surrounding scenery. Complete immersion in the Aman way of life is provided by the perfect integration of Aman’s design language with the surrounding landscape.
The CEO and chairman of Aman, Vlad Doronin, stated in a statement that the tropical location has been a dream of Aman enthusiasts. “Has long been part of our growth strategy and reinforces the brand’s dedication to providing unique and transformative experiences in the world’s most exceptional locations.”
