Oaga Art Resort, a sanctuary for art lovers and experience seekers in the Maldives, is proud to spotlight one of its key team members, Mohamed Rishfan, Assistant Director of Sales. With over ten years of growth within the hospitality industry and demonstrated success in driving strategic growth, Rishfan has been key in shaping and promoting Oaga’s commercial presence worldwide.
Since joining Oaga in December 2023, Rishfan has brought both organization and genuine passion to his role; building strong partnerships, making their internal operations more efficient, and leading their international outreach efforts in key markets like the UK, Germany, Russia, CIS, and India. His promotion to Assistant Director of Sales in December 2024 naturally followed his strong leadership, clear direction, and dedication to what the resort stands for.
Now, in addition to his sales role, Rishfan will also lead the Business Development team at the resort to create a forward-thinking plan that connects their business goals with understanding the market and creating engaging guest experiences. This new role shows the resort’s confidence in his ability to use data, build connections, and apply his creativity to achieve lasting results.

Rishfan’s career has grown from sales coordination to managing major international accounts and leading sales for global brands. Throughout this journey, he’s shown he can adapt, focus on clients, and execute strategic plans effectively. At Oaga, he brings the same energy to everything he does, from creating personalized contracts and planning for different markets to highlighting what makes the resort special through unique trade show events and partnerships.
Valued for his focus on building relationships and fostering trust and collaboration, Rishfan’s skills go beyond just sales and negotiations to include business planning, service excellence, and guiding his team. His work is helping Oaga become known not just as a luxurious place to stay, but as a vibrant showcase of Maldivian art.
