The thatched-roof villas are an open-air oasis beloved by couples and families alike, thanks to its spacious open-air living rooms with direct ocean access. Guests can choose from one or two-bedroom villas with private rooftop terraces, infinity pools, private gyms and Jacuzzis, and sunrise or sunset views.
Offering the perfect private recluse, the residences are located a short boat ride away or on the far end of the jetties to offer seclusion for couples and cater to families of four with an air-conditioned living room that can be converted into a second bedroom. Guests can choose from residences with catamaran nets hovering above the sea, overwater hammocks, and infinity pools.
Step inside the expansive villa and explore its sophisticated open-air interiors and amenities: an infinity swimming pool, spacious sundecks, a couple’s spa pavilion with a sauna and steam room, an air-conditioned gymnasium, cinema, bar, and even a water slide that drops into the sea.
A private butler service – Mr/Ms Friday will be available on call for 24 hours to assist with any requests the guests may have.
At Gili Lankanfushi, guests have the world’s flavours at their fingertips, with a variety of restaurants and bars serving everything from European-Maldivian dishes and hand-rolled sushi to sophisticated wine and food pairings in its underground cellar.
Steeped in a sense of place, “Kashiveli” which translates as “coral sands” in the local Dhivehi language – spotlights fresh, nutritious ingredients—sourced from our organic garden and local waters—in a breezy outdoor environment. At night, the restaurant transforms into a buzzy night market, with globe-trotting flavours reimagined through locally grown produce. Guests will be transported to Bangkok, Marrakech, New Delhi and other foodie capitals — all from Gili’s idyllic island setting.
