The initiative, happening now, brings together members of the community, staff of Al-Shali Marine, and volunteers to contribute to the life-saving cause of strengthening the national blood supply. Organisers highlighted that such partnerships between public institutions and private companies play a vital role in ensuring a steady and safe stock of blood for patients across the Maldives.
Donors arriving at the Hulhumalé centre are being welcomed by staff and volunteers who are assisting them through the donation process. Organisers confirmed that the programme will continue throughout the day, providing an opportunity for the public to take part and support the cause.
