By Maldivian has announced a special photography and videography competition in conjunction with the much-anticipated air show scheduled for this Monday. The event will also mark the launch of the airline’s first wide-body aircraft, the Airbus A330-200. The air show will take place in both Malé and Uppsala, offering aviation enthusiasts and spectators a spectacular experience.
Competition Details
The competition is open to everyone, there’s no need to be a professional photographer or videographer. To participate, entrants are required to capture videos or photos of the air show and post them on Facebook, Instagram, or X with the hashtag #MaldivianAeroAirshow. Participants must ensure their social media accounts are set to public to qualify.

Winners of the competition will be rewarded with the following prizes:
- Grand Prize: A two-night stay at a luxurious five-star resort, including air transfers for two, and a scale model of the Airbus A330-200.
- Second Prize: A return ticket for two to Trivandrum or Cochin, India, along with an Airbus A330-200 model.
- Third Prize: A return ticket for two to any domestic destination, paired with an Airbus A330-200 model.
