MATATO Holds Annual General Meeting to Elect New Executive Board

The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) tonight at the Manhattan Business Hotel. The event, which commenced at 8 p.m., gathered members of the association to elect new executive board members for the upcoming two years.

Key positions to be filled include the president, two vice-presidents, secretary-general, treasurer, and five ordinary members. The election process was overseen by a designated committee, with voting conducted among members present at the meeting.

MATATO had earlier announced that advance registration was required for attendance, with a strict deadline set for January 5 at 11:59 p.m. The AGM marks a significant event for the association as it sets the direction and leadership for the next term.
