The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives), in collaboration with the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) and the National Hotels and Guesthouses Association of Maldives (NHGAM) are making the
final preparations for the upcoming series of roadshows in India. The “Welcome India” roadshow aims to strengthen the Maldives’ position as a premier holiday destination for Indian travelers with activities in 3 major cities.
The roadshow series is scheduled to start on 30th July 2024 at New Delhi, and continue on 01st August 2024 at Mumbai, ending on 03rd August 2024 at Bangalore. This high-profile event will bring together leading industry stakeholders from both countries, providing a platform to nurture new partnerships, strengthen existing ties, and showcase the Maldives’ unparalleled beauty and diversity. The Maldives will be represented by an esteemed delegation, including Mr Ibrahim Faisal, Minister of Tourism, and Mr Mohamed Khaleel, Advisor to the President on Tourism Development.
The ‘Welcome India’ roadshow aims to highlight the Maldives’ pristine beaches, luxurious resorts, charming guesthouses, and rich cultural heritage throughout the 3 cities. Attendees can expect to experience the warmth and hospitality of the Maldives, as well as opportunities to explore exciting business opportunities. To add an element of excitement, a raffle giveaway is planned for each roadshow, with lucky winners receiving a holiday prize.
