By On Saturday, December 2, 2023, the National Boating Association of the Maldives held the Maldives Boating Awards 2023, the annual nationwide boating industry award. The distinguished ceremony, which honored the winners of nominations in several boating-related categories, was held at Kurumba Maldives Resort.
The Hawks Pvt Ltd. and State Trading Organization Plc (STO) were the gold sponsors of this year’s Maldives Boating Awards.
The NBAM launched the Maldives Boating Awards as a way to honor the boating sector’s resilience and the services provided by its providers. The winners were chosen by combining assessments from a panel of judges with votes cast online. This year, liveaboards and other industry workers were among the 33 categories in which awards were handed. The award was first introduced in 2016.
NBAM President Mr. Amir Mansoor was recognized as the Boating Personality of the Year, due to his unwavering efforts to the boating industry.
